Get a defined waist with the Oblique Curl



The Oblique Curl will give your waist that sleek and fit look. Lying supine on the gym ball with ball under the lower back. Place your left hand behind your head with the elbow back. Extend your right arm up and across your body reaching your right hand to the ceiling above your left knee.

Breathing out as you curl up, raise your shoulders and reach your right hand up and across to the left in one slow, smooth, controlled movement. Roll back down and repeat.

Remember to set your abdominals before you raise your shoulders and hold them until you you return back down. Be aware not to pull on your neck as you do the exercise.

To make this exercise easier alternate sides or decrease the number of reps and sets.

To make this exercise harder increase the reps ans sets or hold at the top of the movement for a count of 5. You could also have your feet together instead of hip width apart.
